Keith King is a 40 Year Veteran advocate with heavy legislative experience who is committed to helping today’s veterans as they transition out of the military and back into American society. His volunteer efforts on behalf of his fellow Veterans has been fueled by his success in his personal and business life. Through the years, Keith has taken on a variety of leadership roles on the National, State, and Local levels. Mr. King was named the State of Michigan, Mid-West Regional and National Veteran Small Business Champion by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the first Veteran from Michigan to ever win the National Champion award. He is the current secretary of the Veterans Memorial Park of Detroit. He was formerly Appointed Trustee of Michigan Veteran’s Trust Fund by Governor John Engler, and State Commissioner of Michigan Vietnam Monument Commission. Keith is a founding member of the State of Michigan Council on Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), and is a Life Member of VVA Chapter #9, Detroit. Among his many accolades, Keith was inducted into the inaugural class of the Michigan Military and Veterans Hall of Honor.
